OBY ONE – Complete Biography
OBY ONE is a DJ, producer, and a central figure in the Italian tekno scene. He began his musical journey in the 1990s, founding Outlaw and Olstad Sound in 1996, the first Italian sound system, which became a landmark of the national underground rave culture.
Alongside his artistic activity, OBY ONE deepened his technical training: he studied sound engineering at the Nuova Accademia di Musica Moderna (NAM) in Milan, a leading institution for professional music education in Italy. He later continued with pre-conservatory studies, strengthening his theoretical and musical foundation.
Over the years, OBY ONE has released several vinyl productions with renowned underground labels such as Olstad, Okupe, Tikal Sound, and others, consolidating his role as both creator and innovator within the European tekno movement.
With this unique combination of underground experience, technical expertise, and musical vision, he founded Nexsonus: a project that unites label, academy, studio, and community. Today, OBY ONE stands as a pioneer who bridges the roots of tekno culture with contemporary sound visions, passing on his multidimensional knowledge to new generations.
